SAP S/4 HANA Technical Quality Assurance Expert

The Technical Expert within the Process Functional Support function plays a critical role inensuring the technical integrity, performance, and quality of SAP applications and data within the SAP S/4HANA landscape . The role acts as a bridge between functional requirements and technical implementation, contributing to the design, development, and continuous improvement of SAP solutions.br/ br/ h2Key Responsibilities /h2 ul liTechnical Design Development: ul liContribute to the design, development, and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA applications in alignment with business and functional requirements. /li liEnsure adherence to SAP best practices, development standards, and architectural guidelines. /li /ul /li liQuality Assurance Reviews: ul liPerform technical quality reviews of developments (custom code, enhancements, interfaces, forms, and workflows). /li liValidate compliance with coding standards, performance optimization, security, and maintainability requirements. /li /ul /li liData Management Integrity: ul liOversee and support data-related activities, including data modeling, migration, validation, and consistency checks within S/4HANA. /li liEnsure data quality and alignment with enterprise data governance principles. /li /ul /li liProcess Functional Support: ul liCollaborate closely with functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. /li liProvide expert input on the technical feasibility and impact of functional changes. /li /ul /li liDocumentation Knowledge Sharing: ul liMaintain comprehensive technical documentation for developments and system configurations. /li liShare knowledge and mentor team members on SAP technical topics and best practices. /li /ul /li liGovernance Compliance: ul liEnsure developments comply with internal governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements. /li liEnsure traceability of technical changes. /li /ul /li liConformity Criteria: ul liAble to analyse functional requirements and translate these to SAP technical implementations /li liMinimum of 5 years of relevant project experience in one or more SAP modules, preferably within SAP S/4HANA environments /li liExpertise in SAP UI5/Fiori for frontend and advanced ABAP OO for backend (minimum 5+ years experience) /li liHands-on experience with S/4HANA, including CDS views, OData services and RESTful /li /ul /li liABAP programming (RAP): ul liExperience with Adt (Eclipse) /li liProven experience in the following work areas: SAP data services developments: WebServices, ... + Data exchange formats and protocols (SOAP, XML, JSON, REST,...) /li liSolid understanding of best practices for writing reusable and maintainable code /li liExperience with ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects (OO), Workflow, IDoc, ALV Grid, and ABAP Web Dynpro /li /ul /li liFluent in French and/or Dutch + English /li liMin. 2d/week in Brussels /li /ul br/ h2Evaluation Criteria /h2 ul liExperience level and breadth: Demonstrates SAP technical expertise with deep specialization in one or more SAP modules and SAP Fiori, including architecture design, custom enhancements, and enterprise-grade deployments. /li liShows clear career progression, strong technical depth, and a broad understanding of SAP landscapes and Integrations. /li liKnowledge of SAP S/4 HANA: Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA. /li liUnderstanding of SAP business processes: Strong understanding of one or more SAP business processes, with the ability to align technical design and quality assurance activities with operational and business requirements. /li liLeadership and team collaboration: Recognized as an enthusiastic team player with people management or coaching experience, fostering collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. /li liAnalytical and problem-solving ability: Strong analytical mindset, able to identify root causes, distinguish key issues, and provide quick, effective solutions. /li liCommunication and stakeholder engagement: Ability to communicate QA standards to technical and non-technical stakeholders, experience working with cross-functional teams (functional, technical, business), and capability to challenge solutions constructively to maintain quality standards. /li /ul
